Women in Drinks QLD event: getting the mix right

Women in Drinks QLD event: getting the mix right

Women in Drinks Queensland is holding a special event next month featuring Endeavour Drinks Group's Dr Violet Lazarevic, Head of Customer Behavior and Data, and Michael Jackson, Director of Merchandising, Marketing & Customer Insights.

Violet was previously an Associate Director of Research and Insights at the Melbourne Convention Bureau (a subsidiary of Visit Victoria) and prior to that she was Senior Research Consultant at the Australian Consumer Retail and Services Research Unit (ACRS) at Monash Business School.

Michael has extensive experience in retail merchandising and customer behaviour. He's also is an industry champion of change equality.

Violet and Michael will discuss how having a diverse team reflecting EDG's diverse customers has improved dynamics and performance, and thereby business results.

In the past year, Woolworths Group reduced its gender pay gap to 0.41% and is currently working on increasing the representation of women in leadership. This currently sits at 32%, but initiatives are underway to attract and retain high performing women in an effort to reach a target of 40% by 2020.

EDG is the sponsor of The Drinks Association's inaugural Corporate Social Responsibility Award at the 2018 Australian Drinks Awards. The Corporate Social Responsibility Award acknowledges the work drinks companies are doing to promote positive social and environmental change.

It will be fascinating to hear EDG's insights.
