Women in Drinks Queensland event: Value your worth

The Queensland Chapter of Women in Drinks is holding an inspiring evening with management consultant Paula Mayson next month.

Mayson has a strong foundation in operations, commercial management, human resources, external relations and communications. As previous CEO of the Endeavour Foundation and an Executive Lead of Rio Tinto, Mayson is passionate about closing the gender gap and empowering women to know and realise their true value and worth in the corporate environment.

She will share her story around climbing the corporate ladder, closing the gender gap, valuing her worth and juggling the balance between work and life.

The event will be held at the Carlton & United Breweries Roof Top Bar and is open to both members and non-members. 

Women in Drinks is Women is an initiative by The Drinks Association to highlight issues facing women in the workplace, champion opportunities and offer networking events for women working in the drinks industry.

The Drinks Association is a not-for-profit organisation that offers everything from industry data to targeted forums and a broad spectrum of events, publications and websites, including Drinks Trade and Drinks Guide. It works to build a stronger, more informed Australian drinks industry by providing commonly required services.

Cost: $35pp, includes a drink on arrival & canapes

Tickets are limited. Get in quickly to avoid disappointment. $5 from each ticket will go to Women in Drinks' charity partner, WomenCan, part of Australia New Zealand Gynaecological Oncology Group (ANZGOG). Limited free car parking is available on Level 1 of the James Street car park.   There is also metered car parking available in the surrounding streets and across the road in the James Street Markets.
